You are the worst excuse for a human being I have seen. You openly attack people and then in your own demented way think it is there fault. Please do me a favor and just die. It saddens me that such a abusive little fuck can have such bad spelling. Please do humanity a favor and kill yourself.

Being ashamed of ones own greatness is like letting everybody think you can't do it.

I should have added this sooner.

Minimum wage in BC is between 8 and 8.50 per hour, if I reemmber correctly.

I don't know about most artists, but all of my best peices took at least ten hours of work.

You're not allowed to underpay somebody, it's considered illegal. In fact, they require you to pay a minimum of two hours, even if you didn't work that much time.

So in theory, what he's doing is considered illegal, and should be paying the artists atleast 80 dollars each for unlimited use of their works.

Bah, I'm sure there's tons of holes in there, but in theory, it makes sense. At least to me o_o

I was browsing the web looking for info on this same company, and I came across this thread. My apologies if this is a private discussion.

It is obvious they have an insane madman working for them, but why are you guys griping about the artists not being paid enough? If you are gonna knock this nut-case for being unprofessional, rude, and acting like a foul-mouthed little crybaby, then do so, but if you think about how much the artist is being paid for each piece that is used on their website, its easy to see that the artists are making much more than the standard rate for each piece of work, albeit not all at once.

Picture this: If the artist simply sold a piece to them for $80 as litalarkin suggested, for unlimited use of the work, THAT would be a ripoff compared to what he's offering. If they sell 35 tshirts with that image on it, they've already made $80 on that image! If that image sold 100 shirts, that artist would make $240 on just one image.

I recently tried to start a retail business (similar idea, different medium), and it never got off the ground because the overhead and startup costs were too high. With a tshirt business, he probably has a lot of other costs that no one is considering. A $16 T-Shirt could end up only being $1 in his pocket after the cost of the shirt, the production, the advertisement, the website, the management, and the shipping. I'm playing devil's advocate here, so please don't flame me. I'd rather you guys actually consider these things. When you make an argument, stick to the facts. Thanks for this discussion!

Wow, man. You're an ass and a parasitic moron. Go try to take advantage of people somewhere else.
:iconforeverdreaming:
You have no idea how buisness works. If you want to feature her art on your site, she still has creative property rights and therefore can specify where and where not to put the stuff that she made. You actually have zero rights on her work without her expressed permission.

I also nominated you for biggest douche on DA. Get your head out of your ass.

It's amazing how immaturely and stupid you act, when you accuse others of doing the same. It's really increadible, because you post that email sequence and... you're the one being offended and 'tiny-brained.' Pot calling the kettle black, i think? Except in that case they would have to have been immature and small-brained as well, but I think you're the only one that fits that description. Besides, most people have been more than polite when talking to you, considering you do deserved to be flamed for taking advantage of artists so shamelessly. I'm glad to know you've finally been banned.
:iconmincedniku:
*sigh* I'm not even going to bother to read that. Where in this letter was a mean in any way or was I impolite enough for you to start acting like a 3 year old and start throwing a hissy fit? You obviously get your feelings hurt awfully easily and just need to grow up. Stop PMing me. I already reported you.

Haro. ^^

I like kylas work but also understand that in order to continue working an artist she needs money. If you want to use someones work in order to make profit...
well the least you can do is pay them a commission fee.
I also only stopped by to ask you to stop leaving longwinded offensive messages on her journal.

Please aware Kyla that [link] has a free hosting gallery, tons of free hits, also an auction place where you can sell commission work and originals, totally free.

Rude people like such, are out of style with the 80's, move on to perfessional places with curtious staff. :)
